Guardian Peanut Feeder - Medium

The medium guardian peanut feeder has an optimum mesh size which allows smaller species such as Blue Tits though to feed. The outer mesh cage protects the peanut feeder and the birds inside which provides more food for small favourites such as tits and finches and excellent protection from squirrel damage.

Guardian peanut feeders packs are dispatched fully assembled, each pack contains a guardian feeder guard and a modified peanut feeder. The cap of the guardian peanut feeder, which can be accessed by squirrels, is made of strong metal alloy, for greater protection. To keep prices down, the base and the ports are made of plastic as these can't be reached by squirrels.

Hygiene and Cleaning
Guardian squirrel proof peanut feeders can be easily taken apart for regular cleaning.

• Turn wire guard to re-locate base from locking tabs, undo base nut from the bottom of the feeder.
• Lift the lid and pull the hanging hook out of the tube one side at a time. Gently remove the plastic bale.
• Pull mesh out of groove in perch and then firmly pull the perch through the mesh.
• Each component can then be thoroughly cleaned and reassembled. Cleaning brushes, fluids and our handy hygiene tips can be found on in the Safety Section.
